Happy SEO’ing

So, just where do I rank in Google?

Google is making so many changes to the way we search – and all positive in my opinion.  They are “humanising” search, so to speak.  However, this means that when we search Google we are often being given skewed results compared to what others are seeing.

Our results are altered depending on whether we are logged into Google, our plus one recommendations, our geographic location, recently visited pages and a plethora of other things.

There is a way, however, without using third-party tools, to see the organic search results without having any of the above affecting the search results.

The way to do this is to add:  “&pws=0″ to the end of the search URL.

So, for example, pop to Google and type in:  Freelancer Web Designer in Pakistan and wait for the results to return.

Then, go to the end of the search string in the web browser URL and add “&pws=0″ to the string:

google search Where do I rank in Google?

And that will give you the true organic search position results.
